DSP Application :

Digital Signal Processing (DSP) operations are very important part of engineering as well as medical discipline. Designing of DSP operations have many approaches. For the designing of DSP operations, multiplication is play important role to perform signal processing operations such as Convolution and Correlation. The new approach of this implementation is mentally and easy to calculate of DSP operations for small length of sequences. In this paper a fast method for DSP operations based on ancient Vedic mathematics is contemplated. The implementation of high speed DSP operations of two finite length sequences using Vedic Urdhava-Triyagbhayam Multiplication Sutra (approach/method) is done. Urdhava-Triyagbhayam Sutra is very efficient multiplication formula applicable for all types of multiplication. This algorithm is implemented in MATLAB and all the operation is performed in single Graphical User Interface (GUI) window. Vedic mathematics based DSP operations reduce the processing time as compare to inbuilt function of MATLAB. It reduces the 40-60% time from inbuilt function and this algorithm operates in concept of Vedic multiplier. 

Use in Technology:

Knowingly or unknowingly we always use Vedic Sutras in everyday world of technology. As an example, whenever we use i<--i+1 or i<--i−1 in software routines, we use 'EkadhikinaPurvena' and 'EkanyunenaPurvena' Sutras respectively. Likewise, many Vedic sutras are used in multiplier unit of computer. It will give faster results, which is very much required in various applications like cryptographic algorithms, image processing applications. Traditional methods used for multiplication, division require more time as compared to Vedic methods. UrdhvaTiryagbhyam, Nikhilam sutra are used for multiplication purpose. It requires less time, power and give results faster. This has also been used in many android applications.

Algebra is a branch of mathematics that deals with symbols and these symbols reflect quantities without fixed values, called variables and here equations represent relationships between variables. It has operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 

Vedic Maths helps in building speed and accuracy in calculations which are based on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, squares, roots, and higher calculations. Hence the students of Vedic Maths can easily apply the Vedic Sutras in algebra. As a result of their calculations shall be faster with accuracy than usual methods as taught in the school. This will eventually help in scoring high for kids in exams or olympiads.

Geometry has topics on angles, shapes, lines, and space and is very useful in arts, architecture, and astronomy. Calculating area for example of a rectangle requires multiplication as the formula for the same is  -length x breadth. The perimeter of a 2D shape implies you have to give the total distance around the specific shape, which implies adding all sides.

So, doing Geometry also involves the use of arithmetic operations implying if one is good at Vedic Maths, he or she will be good at Geometry and thereby shall also be more skillful in arts, architecture, and astronomy.
